Frozen Junkyard

An icy cave course where you drive past Eggman’s old busted robots. Some of them begin to move, and their laser beams are focused on the route… The idea was a simple riff/melody with a spicy synth phrase to express the combination of a cool, blue world with the striking image of the decaying robots. For this song, I teamed up with a mixture band including Tyler Smyth, frontman of Dangerkids. I liked the riff I had with seven strings in hand, so from there the song was easily completed.
