Wonder World - Title Theme -

Tomoya Ohtani and Takahito Eguchi on Sonic Lost World Original Soundtrack:

Wonder World - Title Theme -

Ohtani: This is the main theme of this game. I wished for the composition with the feeling similar to the one when making the pop like accompanied singing rather than making the orchestra theme song. Even if I altered the arrangement and had it referenced with various forms, I wanted to make a pop and catchy melody that has a strong core. In order to work out a theme music of a new scene, a new gameplay, and an action game, I made it with a flexible idea musically as well.

Eguchi: I seriously arranged Sonicesque exhilarating scamper sensation, which is anyhow easy-to-understand and friendly from children to adults. I performed trial and error with Mr. Ohtani on how to express that typicality. For example, in the intro, I symphonically enlivened the expectation in which the story starts and when entering melody A, I decided the rock taste with a single piano. Also checking the recording method constantly and conceptually, I performed the dubbing of string, woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments individually. It became Sonicesque, pop rock orchestra sound that is not something merely done magnificently but has effective edge.
