Jun Senoue on Sonic Generations Original Soundtrack:
Regarding the compositions that color the story of this game, I decided to appoint different composers depending on the scenes being used and the demanded music atmosphere. Concerning the place related to Time Eater, I counted on Richard Jacques from the reasons like being uniquely consistent in the relevance of Time Eater that included the last boss battle of this game. I requested Mr. Minobe, who have been handling many compositions in the games of the series since Sonic Heroes, for music used in Blue Adventure. Mr. Fukuda, who worked together for the first time in this game by fate, provided the compositions that depicted the feeling of tension, the denouement, and others before the last boss. Also, about the parts that mainly show Sonic’s actions, I decided that I prepared things that seem suitable for the movements. I think the outcome is that we had been able to prepare the music rich in variety and color the story of this game.
